I am glad that Houston won. Syracuse lost by 16 and we should have won but we only lost by 3. We also beat Syracuse by 10 in our game 79-69.
This was worse. The fact that Cuse looked so bad means RU would have had a good shot to beat them and go to Elite Eight.
We are in the Syracuse fans heads. They compare themselves to us in every other thread. They know they’re inferior to us but they’re in denial. They get blown out by houston and lose to us by ten and still think they’re better. What a miserable fan base.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda, but if you saw the Loyola-OSU game we would have been favored to go to the Final Four.

It was all there sitting and waiting for us. This time Lucy didn't pull the ball away. Charlie Brown fell flat on his *** running up to it.
I’m rationalizing here to try to feel better but we were up and down like a yo-yo all year. We were down about 30 to Nebraska recently. Yes, it would have been great to have the opportunity, and Syracuse looked horrible, but we could have easily **** the bed against Syracuse also.Even if we won, we probably would have lost at the buzzer vs. Oregon State because that may be our lot in life. Either way, there’s a good chance something more heartbreaking would have happened to rob us of a final four appearance. I realize I’m not the life of the party, but my pessimism has served me well following Rutgers, the Mets and the Knicks. I’m sometimes pleasantly surprised but I’m rarely horribly disappointed.

A better bball program? We still had a better record than you and went farther than you in a year when you had one of your best teams ever. Yes you did beat us without our best player in December. As for recruiting we have a 5 star coming in. Not sure about your class coming in. As for football we will see who's better when we play you.
Your unique way of explaining the highs and lows of being a supporter of teams that rarely have won are a means for Rutgers fans to realize that sustained success is difficult to achieve.
We have money and resources and you don't. Your time is over. And also, nobody gives a **** about basketball schools. Your football program is bottom of the barrel, forever defining how your school is seen nationally. Without the resources we have, there is zero hope for it. Does your coaching staff even total half of what we budget for ours?

Your team just lost by 16 to the team we lost by two to and literally had to blow a game that was locked up at a win. In a year we kicked the crap out of your players for 40 minutes. Definitely a good win but both of those teams live and die by the 3. They both are much less atletic than Houston and neither play very good defense. So whoever shot better Cuse vs WVU will win every time they play and neither can matchup with athletic teams who play great Defense.
