Parx had RU +8.5 and over/under is 132. At Parx you can make the spread whatever you want. You can even give Houston points. BTW.... If you took the highest point from Houston 18.5 you get back 4.00 on a 20 bet.

I love being the underdog.

No clue how these teams will matchup.

I could see Houston coming out and just killing us by hitting shots from everywhere and us being ice cold.

I could also see us stifling them with better defense and size than they've had to deal with, and running the floor with them and making this a game or winning.

KenPom spread is Houston -8. Would have guessed without Jarreau it would settle around Houston -7. They are a really good team, but Rutgers will have a chance if they can hold their own on the defensive glass.

Just hope Young isn’t too amped up...although that’s actually difficult to envision.

yes..... I can see JY playing like an All-American and being the story of the day

I can also see him over amped with the possibility of over six turnovers, many unforced, and trying to do too much aside from that

other thoughts:

we are playing with house money here..... if we are to lose, which I hope to hell not, let us go down making them sweat the result.

as with many games, first few minutes of both halves are big....don't want to dig out of an early double digit deficit, nor do we want to come out flat early on in the second half, after a heroic first.

the fact that they are not a super tall team, no Shak-like big man in the middle, adds to my hope here.....if it is rebounding, let us measure up to that..... the desire should be there

Given how battle tested we are, a tight game works in our favor.

good point..... it feels like we won a good percentage of the games that went down to the wire.....could be wrong, but, without checking

I think there is a little backlash on the B1G teams because of OSU and MSU. I mean right now Illinois is only giving up 7 points against Loyola. Thats almost printing money.

Don't understand the "house money" thing.
As my wife has said more than once....once you win the money, it's not house money anymore....it's YOUR money.
They won't let you bet with house money.

I think you understand it, just don't agree with its reasoning

Young should harass him all game long. Make him wish he didn’t play
Id rather but JY on Grimes. I know the kid is 6’5 but JY is a bull. He can handle that. My guess is were going to be constantly changing up who we have on Grimes between Montez, JY, Caleb

And pike needs to be careful about when to rest young and how much to rest him.. on Friday he came out for about 2 minutes and the game almost slipped away. Can’t trust Mathis
