At least it's not the Achilles - heard someone say they heard something about the Achilles right after the game, but obviously that wasn't info from the team - an ankle can be recovered from very quickly - if it's not too bad, whereas you're done with an Achilles tear...

Gotta also hope that its not a high ankle sprain, though it didn't look to be.

I've seen someone tear their Achilles tendon playing ball... he couldn't put any weight on it whatsoever. Looked like Myles turned his ankle. In my experience that just needs to stay loose and it's fine in 2 days but Rich will know that better than I of course

Obviously he wasn't right once there was that contact that ended with him on his back. Obviously, the training/medical staff will do whatever it takes to hopefully get him ready to play on Sunday!

He was holding the ankle. Not the back of his leg so not likely an Achilles

The way he got hurt screamed achilles, so many times the injury is a result of the foot being squarely planted and you make a quick move, that's what happened with him.

Nah, it screamed twisted ankle. You can see it on the replay pretty clearly.

I ruptured my Achilles. It felt like someone hit me in the back of the leg with a stick. Yeah, it did hurt eventually hurt but tearing my ACL...that hurt like hell. If you rupture your achilles, your foot is basically dangling because there's nothing to connect to your heel.

B1G hasn't come into the tourney with a ton of injuries, but the ones they've had have hurt. OSU could've used Young today. Michigan usually isn't the same team without Livers, and Myles out would be a blow for you guys. Hope he can play.

There are different levels of Achillies injuries, I know as it was that injury that stopped me from playing basketball, I never ruptured it but I strained it and the difference between a torn and strain is night and day, you rupture it you're getting carried off the court/field and you're talking about 9-12 month rehab, it might be the worst kind of injury a middle age person could go through, worse than a torn rotary cuff.

But after I strained my Achillies I got it healed and still took to the court all the while popping my calf muscle on one leg, it became chronic and realized it was all connected, sooner or later I was going to rupture the Achillies and I stopped playing. Sucks because I miss pickup games.
