Another 2 foot air ball. Out of control. He’s a turnover machine. Keep him glued to the bench.
He gets no calls attacking the rim. Still needs to finish much better but he doesn't get the whistle
He goes looking for contact, recklessly at that.......but he gets it. The refs need to adhere to the rules of basketball and not... whatever it is they're trying to prove by not calling those fouls.
This. He got hammered a couple of times with no calls. Calls that were made on the other end.

So even if he gets the calls. He misses half of his free throws. His game makes no sense
He needs to try to score not get fouled. That’s his problem. If he gets fouled, great but that shouldn’t be objective #1
Fair point. All the more reason to be driving to score and make them block you
He drive and pulls the ball back away from the defender which almost forces them to go straight up.. which makes him not get the call
He’s completely lost right now. Capable of more. Feel like he needs a steal and slam to get some confidence
Does basketball have a +/- stat like hockey? Would love to see what Mathis's is. It feels like every time he enters the game we go into a drought. I don't know if that's reality or my perception.
This thread effing sucks. A pox on all your jerks. We just won the biggest ******* game in almost 40 years and you all are bitching about a college player giving his all every play. Did anyone watch his defense? Give a break already.
