Hanging with some friends and we joked that if there was a drinking game that you had to drink every time Trace Jackson Davis was mentioned, we would all be passed out. Seriously - anyone get a count of how many times the announcers mentioned him? Anyone else think it was absurd?

Strangest thing is that they almost always said his full name.... Trayce Jackson-Davis. Rarely did they simply say Jackson-Davis.

Not sure what your point is. He was probably the best player on the floor tonight - why shouldn't he get a lot of mentions, win or lose?
My point was let them mention him a million times. He’s a great player. But I’ll trade those mentions for a win.

They always have players they talk up...

For us it's Baker, iowa Garza, MD Wiggins, MSU Langford...

Myles owns him. Has blocked him probably 9 times this year between the 3 games. OWNS him!!!!!!!!!
Exactly. If Myles didn’t drift out to cover guards and stayed with him he wouldn’t have had 19 points. The stare downs were a bit much. The kid does have attitude though.

Myles played well against him but it's hard to say that he OWNS him when he puts up 19 points. However, those blocks were nice.

He played six more minutes then Cliff Andover scored on Cliff a few times but I do get your point. I also would not say owned him

TJD was first team all B1G and third team all American. He is really the only consistent threat on the Hoosiers. Who else on that team were the announcers supposed to hype? Durham is okay. Hunter made a few nice plays. Phinisee had seven assists. Not a lot of positives outside of TJD.

And should have been T’d up for slapping the backboard after a second half dunk.

He's a good player, and nobody else stood out for Indiana. When you have 19 points and the rest of the team combined has 31, you will get most of the announcers' attention.

He starred down Paul twice and flexed after his dunks. Great that Paul hit the two dagger threes
I saw that on the first jam... ridiculous.. PM wasn't even on him for that and came to help.. PM was too "nice" avoiding that foul.. he's a big guy, could have taken the impact. TJD is good.. but not THAT good.

Exactly. Indiana stinks. Who else are they going to talk about?

Indiana fans dealing with the reality of Rutgers beating them 3 times in 1 season is smile inducing
