Wow. RU made it to final four undefeated. I was in Rutgers Med School then. What a great year. Attended most of home games at Barn as was year before opening of RAC

“Since Indiana”. RU and Indiana were concurrent. So he’s technically correct

[BOGDANOVICH]

One of the BTN announcers said tonight that Indiana was the last team to enter into the NCAA tournament Final Four undefeated. Was it Beilien? Of course he was wrong as Rutgers was also undefeated entering the Final Four,

So was Indiana State in 1979, UNLV in 1991, and Kentucky in 2015.

Well, obviously, now you have to blow up his Twitter mentions

Yeah, sorry, but we didn’t finish the season undefeated. Stupid thread.

OK but the question is teams who entered the postseason undefeated. Pretty sure we tick that box in ‘76.

[ScarletDave]

What about Kentucky a few years ago? Didn’t they have 0 losses?

[ColonelRutgers]

Before anyone embarrasses themselves and RU by getting on SVP they might want to look up the word "since" in the dictionary.

There were 2 teams undefeated in 1976 going into th final four.

"Sports Journalism." LOL.... Your average hamhead sports anchor is handicapped by a lack of knowing much about what they say.

[RUsojo]

I saw that, they didn’t go back to that season they only included seasons after 76

ESPN sucks

[ScarletKid2008]

I think the bigger Sports Center snub is not giving RU the attention, coverage, and treatment that NW got a few years ago when they made the tournament for the first time in forever.

But the bigger grife is that SportsCenter is such an awful show now. They spend probably 60% or more of air time with talking head nonsense and totally left field statistics.

I miss the days when each game was given a proper story line and multiple highlights showing turning points.
