Say whatever you want, we should be a lock now, and it’s a beautiful thing

You better be careful. They’ll come for you with pitchforks for that comment. Lol.

Like I said in the game thread, I don’t know why Young transferred here but thank god he chose us.

[BigLou]

FINALLY!!!

How do you know? kyk said we were a bubble team.

I think we’re going to make a run in B1G tourney now. House money.

[hoquat63]

Ever notice the resemblance with Mashburn Jr?

[read option]

I was honestly thinking if we lost this game that we were destined to never make the tourney ever again. What a relief!

[scarletpumpernickl]

Nice to see Carlton in RU red!

[Joey Bags]

This f****** guy

That’s your first reaction?

[FrankZ_RU93]

I searched extra hard for the red lol

[fatsam98]

Just popped the champagne

[cyrock3]

How do you know? kyk said we were a bubble team.

If it takes you to the last game of the regular season to lock up your berth, you are a bubble team.

At least we're on the right side of the bubble. That's all that matters.

Hope Hobbs has his finger on the button to send out a mass fundraising email while everyone is ready to open the wallets

[ru66]

they earned this and they won 4 BIG away games

[RUDead]

The pressure was really getting to them down the stretch. Now that the tourney bid is in the bag, hopefully they will relax and play better on offense.

COMPLETELY agree...when this team plays loose they are so much better

Amazing defense on Carr....almost zero open looks

[Shell21]

It’s a new season with a new focus . The last few
Games are meaningless and we r capable of going on a run if we just make some shots

[superfan01]

I always said I won't believe it until @bac2therac tells me we are in. Now I believe it. The curse is over.

[Pancho1939_rivals]

I can’t wait to see the fire pikiell posts after not making the final four

Yes Sir Bac! It was a long time coming.

Best of Luck,

So many jackhats on this board. But today is not the day for that. It’s for the really loyal, long-suffering and reasonably sane Rutgers fans to celebrate. Congrats to all those who shed a tear in the last half-hour.

[anon_xekqhstck0ygt]

no ****. minnesota wasn't going to give up. complain after one of the biggest wins in RU history????? Wonder what the board would like after the 89 PSU game?

[YoucancallmeRay]

Congratulations to the team and all of the fans!! The team stepped up in OT and pulled it out.

[Knights 1212]

I know I am so THRILLED. Being a fan for over 50 years and having season tickets for over 30 years and hardly ever missing a game since the RAC was built in 1977 I am beyond happy for all of us long suffering fans who have remained so loyal. Last March I drove to Indiana and saw the pandemic cancel our season. To be honest at my age I never thought I might see RU make the NCAA again. What a relief today's win is. I am so happy for our entire staff and our players as well. Thank God for this win.

[RW90]

What is it about us in regular season ending road games? I just realized we won in OT at Purdue to end last season also.

[RU_DIO]

WE ARE FREAKING IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

funny how these posters are all silent during game thread when we are winning then decide to show up when it looked like the collapse was on to scream “offense” and “no 2 for 1” and now just as quickly disappear.

[PiscatawayMike]

C'mon everybody. Post your dance videos and GIFs...

Wasn't it just a few years ago that Syracuse limped into the tournament, a lot people didn't even think they'd get in, and they made a surprise run to either the Elite 8 or Final Four. Not saying RU will do that but I am saying once you're in you've got a shot and that's all you can ask for
