some guys you'd rather see play against us. He is one of them. Nebraska could be better without him.....at least the 80% of the time he isn't on.

he is their leading scorer on a team that is 6-17. Its like saying in Pike's first year you would rather play Rutgers with rather than without Corey Sanders
You are asking the wrong guy on this one. I made my opinion very well known and I wasn't popular.

haha, well I said accelerate the timeline..that being said if RU didnt have Sanders it doesnt win that game vs Indiana in the Big 10 tourney

While Allen appears to be a trainwreck in general the fact that Pike now will not have to prepare for him is actually a good thing. Nebby proved they could win without him vs Minnesota but that does not mean it will work vs Rutgers

Sanders and Freeman leave a 3-15 team and suddenly we improve to 7-13. They both had talent yet we had significant improvement without them.

Minnesota was missing two starters and Nebraska shot 9-17 on threes while Minnesota shot 8-30 and the Gophers still only lost by 4.
wow.....

9-15 without Teddy. I just check box score and i assumed Thor had a few, but only 1.

I guess it was one of those games. Monday Monring QB!!!! maybe taking 30 3 pointers against Nebraska is too much.

Didn't see the game so i can't attest for the quality of attrmpts

Have to contain the Pittsburgh transfer. Most things will run thru him with Allen gone. Jacob is up.

You are right, but missing Myles is different than missing Robbins.

The 9-17 and 8-30 were big factors.

Still they are Nebraska. I hope I didn't put the jinx on.
Kaulscher is strong defensively and his absence could have something to do with Neb's big 3pt shooting that game. I'm not discounting Neb's win just because Robbins and Kaulscher were out, but Minny is a much better team when they are healthy, that's not even disputable.

Teddy hasn’t had the greatest life, but he also doesn’t help himself sometimes.

He wasn’t going to play the remainder of the year with his wrist injury and probably not much even if not hurt. Points per possession with him in had gotten way too low compared to when others in game. He definitely struggled with the team concept a lot.

I won’t call it addition by subtraction it his minutes have gone down ever since everybody got healthy. He scored a lot but other than the 41 point game he took an awful lot of shots to get his points. He is a defensive liability as well.

Here’s a little background on him.

Anytime you lose someone on a bad team who has potential to score 40 point is a negative for them. Its not like they are overflowing with talent. If he went off for 30 or 40 tonight we'd all be lamenting it.

A lot of turnover on the Nebraska roster and if I recall correctly Hoiberg was a big JUCO guy at Iowa State. All rosters are more volatile given the relaxation of transfer rules but you do need some continuity from year to year.

With regard to Allen, when he was on he could score a lot of points but I will take huskers view of the situation as being the most accurate assessment of what his departure means for the program. If we go out there and take care of our business this should not matter one way or another.

yes because most coaches wouldnt gameplan for a last place teams leading scorer🤪
Any player that scored 41 points in a recent game should receive attention in a scouting report even if its the worse team in the B1G.Now its one less concern .The focus should be on the offense getting a fast start and minimize scoring droughts throughout the game.

Quite a story. Thanks for posting the link. We have no idea the cards some of these kids have been dealt in their lives.
