After we beat Michigan State by thirty (After losing to them by 23), who would've dreamed they'd handle Illinois fairly easily. This game all comes down to how well each team plays on that given night.

True, but our blowout win over Michigan State was their first game in 3 weeks after having 3 players and additional staff members out with Covid. They were only able to have limited practices during some of that time. Joshua Langford is a good player but he and a few others weren't able to practice prior to our game due to having Covid. The long layoff and the after effects of the infection took him a few games to get over. We might have still beaten Michigan State anyway if they'd been healthy and full strength, but it definitely would have been a much closer game. No way they all shoot and play that poorly if they'd been in game shape.
