I know the vast majority here have little or no interest in the women’s team, but for those who might be curious, they are on BTN at noon today vs the Illini
It should be a blow out win.Illinois is a bottom tier B1G team.I know the vast majority here have little or no interest in the women’s team, but for those who might be curious, they are on BTN at noon today vs the Illini
Maybe arella and diamond could teach the men how to shoot the 3.I know the vast majority here have little or no interest in the women’s team, but for those who might be curious, they are on BTN at noon today vs the Illini
And foul shots. Seriously, they play with poise but also energy. They are a little short handed due to injuries, but they have a good chance to win out and maybe the double bye. Arella could be Big MVP and Diamond is Big Freshman of year and both are on national watch lists. The supporting cast are also fun to watch. If you haven’t seen them play, take the opportunity. You won’t be disappointed.Maybe arella and diamond could teach the men how to shoot the 3.
This team could make a run. Johnson and Guirantes are absolutely lethal scorers.
Also these jerseys they are wearing are super dope.
Maybe arella and diamond could teach the men how to shoot the 3.
Of course men are more athletic, however the women are much better shooters than anyone on the men’s team.Let's not get crazy. If you said foul shooting, definitely.
But let's see the women shoot when there are defenders anywhere near them when taking 3 pointers. Just looked them up. Arella is shooting 39% from 3, which is still pretty good. Diamond is at 54%, which is unheard of.
Of course if any of our men players, including the walk-ons played the women(including Arella) in 1 on 1, the games would not even be close, just based on strength and size.
It would be interesting to see a competition at the foul line and also 3 point shooting between the men and women. Not sure if the pressure would get to the women or the non-pressure would make our men shoot it at a much higher %
Best of Luck,

Yeah, but they would lose dunking contestOf course men are more athletic, however the women are much better shooters than anyone on the men’s team.
Not a fair comparison. Different size ball w/ same size hoop, different 3pt line, different physical abilities, different required release points and setup/release timing.Of course men are more athletic, however the women are much better shooters than anyone on the men’s team.

GrozSo you are convinced without a doubt that if Arella and Diamond competed against Geo and Ron in a 3 point shooting contest, that the women would win? I would still bet my money on the men.

It doesn’t matter. You can only perform against whom you compete against. They’ve faced some tough competition and are playing well. The comments about “teaching the men” are tongue in cheek. We all want the men to shoot better from the foul line and the perimeter but all want Rutgers to shine. Go ru!
Yep, Arella and Diamond would beat the men.So you are convinced without a doubt that if Arella and Diamond competed against Geo and Ron in a 3 point shooting contest, that the women would win? I would still bet my money on the men.

I always hit the driver straight on the driving range but not on the course.I don't think Hinson was really saying it tongue in cheek. Maybe he can confirm that he really didn't mean that the women were better shooters. He said of course the men are more "athletic" which we all know, but he said the women were better shooters. I am not trying to disparage the women at all, they are playing real good basketball.
I think most of our fans would be surprised if they went to some of our practices, how many foul shots and 3 pointers our men players make. I am not sure why our men struggle so much from the foul line during games, versus the women who don't let the game pressures get to them at the foul line. And, this has been forever that many of the women shoot better from the foul line. It just can't be the smaller ball, but maybe it is the reason.

Hands down the ladies would smoke the guysYep, Arella and Diamond would beat the men.
