Not super impressed with Umich

Statistically,Michigan plays better defense,fouls less and has scorers at every position.That is why Michigan is a number 1 seed for the NCAA Tournament with only one loss this season.
I'm a Michigan fan, and from what I've seen from Rutgers this year I don't think it is a horrible matchup either. Rutgers is, to my eye, better than Minnesota, and Minnesota beat us. I do think Michigan will win, but I expect a tough, close game.
I don't think people think Michigan is a bad matchup, specifically. But they are the #3 team in the country and we are playing them on the road so it would be strange if most here expected to win.
We may not win but I don’t see how one can watch Michigan and not be impressed. We’ve won all but three games by double digits.
I think Rutgers presents some problems defensively for Michigan but I don’t see how the other side of the ball isn’t a mismatch. I can’t see Rutgers scoring more than 55 the way Michigan defends unless they hit a bunch of shots that they traditionally don’t make.
My guess is Michigan wins a 65-55 game
I think Johnson is a really good player, but I'd be more concerned with a 5 who can stretch the floor a little more and pull Dickinson away from the basket, like a Luka Garza. I'm most concerned with the quickness and disruptiveness of your guards. We can get a little turn-overy and I think RU is suited to exploit that a bit.

Watch how this team passes the ball. It was a big issue for us last year. They are also:

Due to my wife being an alum, I have seen all their games. I have a feeling after watching them tonight, you will be quite impressed. I believe they are the worst mar up for us in the BIG. I REALLY, really want to beat them.
Michigan is national championship contender material. They do it all. Not sure how you can't be impressed by them.

In 2021, Michigan ranks #3 on KenPom.
Only Isaiah Livers missing a bunch of games in 2020 has kept them from being a permanent fixture in the top 10 recently.
I thought Michigan was downright awesome before their pause. I know Wisconsin beat Rutgers but I also think their pace and style of play made them an ideal opponent for Michigan to return to. But Michigan’s comeback in the game was still impressive.
