Again, this is not a must win. Probably only at Nebraska is a must win. Lets say we lose tonight, but then beat Northwestern, Indian and Maryland at home. We also win at Nebraska and Minnesota. That puts us at 11-9, a loss tomorrow won't matter at all.

So you’re saying that we can lose tomorrow and then make it up by beating the same team on the road later,.
There are many paths to 11-9. Winning tomorrow makes the journey easier so to me it’s as must a win game as any on our schedule.

I would prefer a 10 seed over the 8-9 game . But if we wind up in the 8-9 game that’s good. Still a winnable game . We get in the tournament and win a game this goes down as a fantastic year by rutgers standards. I would sign for that tonight.

But I’m amazed we’re contemplating a loss to Minnesota and going out of our way to discuss where we get four wins from because of it

What we say means nothing if the players don't have internet access. Unfortunately they do. I truly believe the ONLY reason we lost 5 in a row was over confidence. What led to that over confidence may or may not have had anything to do with things like "playing for a national championship" being posted multiple times on this board. Since I can't prove they are unrelated, I will always worry that they ARE related.

Overconfidence is likely to come from reading their press clips and from one another. Not from some random fan on a message board. Don't confuse players on campus with recruits and their families.
