As Bardo said during the game today, most of the B1G teams are good teams. You can't take a day off against anybody. Thought Baker looked more like the Baker of last year and Rutgers played with more energy today — less of the one-on-one stuff. The ability to spell Johnson for some minutes took pressure off him. He played a nice defensive game and didn't commit silly fouls. Nice win for the Knights.

Rutgers basketball owns the Hoosier State. Period. Never thought those would be our two best opponents against when we joined the B1G. 3-0 against Purdue, now 4 of 5 against IU

They are absolutely convinced that they lost to a far inferior team
today. Just goes to show how emotions can interfere with common sense at times. One thing is clear: They are as passionate a
fan base about their team (including us) as anyone in the
conference

They are living in the distant past. They are not an elite basketball program. Like teams that match up well against Rutgers, we match up well against Indiana style of play. We will beat them more times than not going forward.

In 1976 we were undefeated final 4 and also wore stripped warm ups and I personally thought we should have never stopped wearing them.

Speaking of which, I just found out that Purdue leads that all-time series with IU by 34 games. I wouldn't have guessed that.
