1. When your best rebounder is setting picks at the top of the key for players that can't shoot he will not be in position to get the rebound.
2. These young men are playing defense the way the coaching staff wants so some blame need to be on them.
3. Other teams know who rebounds and will have the man he guards out on the perimeter to keep Myles off the boards.
4. Less hedging with the bigs and the guards need to stay in front or their man so the Bigs don't have to help so much.
5. You can tell this team is coached by former guards.

1 out of the last 9 games(1-8), we have outrebounded either MSU or OSU of those forward/rebounding centric teams. Both teams recruit 6-7 players in that 6-7, 6-8 230-240 lbs with range mold. Neither team gets out rebounded often or by much. With all of our guards/wings playing out of their usually defensive spots they normally are is why we have so many rebound issues.

Defense/Rebounding are struggling because the 5 spot covers the middle(MLB), just say 1s/3s are to the right and 2s/4s are to the left. You try to keep the 1s/3s to the right, 2s/4s on the left, like CBs and safeties. I think the last 5 games, you are having 1s/3s left and 2s/4s right and are not getting position or spot they should being on a different sides causing breakdowns in defense and rebounding. Once healthy won't be a problem.

We are also essentially playing 4 guards or 3 guards and a small forward so that is not helping us on the boards. We really need Cliff back!!

Geo and Ron definitely still hurting. Ronnie was just watching balls go into the hands of Buckeyes yesterday.Hardly playing D. Both tentative on O.

We missed 13 more shots than OSU and they grabbed 13 more defensive rebounds, which is reasonable. They grabbed one more offensive rebound than we did. So it appears our shot-making was a far greater factor than rebounding.

Even with Cliff rebounding is a team effort you cannot expect all your rebounds to come from the 5 spot. If you add Cliff's average per game we still get out rebounded in the same games.
