Why isn't Myles getting the ball on the block? He towers over that shrimp!

MSU has been disciplined with not collapsing when Young drives. They are fine with letting him try to finish at the basket rather than collapsing and letting our kick out game get going

Everyone’s overlooking how bad Geo’s two fouls are hurting the team right now. Caleb cannot keep the team in sync the same way Geo does.

The Rutgers offense is totally inept.Its playground basketball but with Michigan State making so many turnovers Rutgers is still only 4 points behind.

Young is the only guy that can associate the ball and the basket and what to do. So out of synch that MSU is actually keeping us in the game for everyone else. They score occasionally.

Good scouting – – uncontested three years have been going in and contested shots in the lane have not.

Yeah was thinking about this before the game and wondering to myself if the reason we don’t beat them is because typically they’re athletic enough to stifle our transition and we’ve never had a half court threat against them.

But, I then proceeded to take RU on the Moneyline lol

We still don’t have a good halfcourt offense. But for me the reasons we’ve been so much better offensively this year for me are:

1) Jacob Young playing more minutes, and usually (not early tonight) dominating the ball when in half court

2)Not passing on open 3s early in the shot clock

3) emphasizing transition offense

Young is battling. The rest of the team is playing soft and tentative. High as they are playing, we should be going on backdoor cuts constantly. But we’re just watching the ball.
