If a school like TCU can make the championship a year after going 5-7, why can’t we? We recruit about the same level, just need the right players at the right positions and the right coach.

Well, we are in SECW. I don’t think TCU is in the playoffs playing a SEC schedule.
It’ll get a little easier for us when the SEC eliminates divisions.

My very first Southern Miss football game was when they beat #9 TCU to cap off an 8-0 C-USA season. Nationally televised game on ESPN, the place was rocking. I just assumed that every football season would be that way. To put it lightly, our two programs went in different directions. Happy for them though.
Our path ain’t nothing like theirs.

12 team playoff will change everything. Combine that with the elimination of SEC west. Hopefully our “poor ole state” fans start to open their eyes to the cfb landscape
