All things considered Myles did pretty well on D. I’d say about 4 points Garza had were lazy defense, 5 were scored on good D, and a free throw where the team just mobbed him in the paint.

He’s on pace for 20 (28 ppg) and Iowa is on pace for 70 (92 ppg). Defense is clearly doing its job.

Solid half.

Refs not calling the game even, but not egregious either, and letting us play physical and play Defense. Let's hope that continues. No one in foul trouble also a good thing.

We have to blame ourselves for a Tie game, as we missed way too many chip shots around the rim. Can't do that. Some questionable decisions where we could have had better plays as well.

All that being said, all the guys seem to be stepping up nicely. Need to finish strong and win this thing. We are just as good as Iowa if not better.

Learned from his mistake against Ohio State. Sign of a great coach

Was it his substitutions or that fact that he has Rutgers ranked #14 in the country tied against the #10 team in the country that is a sign that that he is a great coach....

The amount of people who complain about the smallest things as if pikiell is still in year one at stony Brook is comical at this point.

Caleb is fine to spot somebody a couple minutes, but not ready to be thrown into the thick of the action for extended periods. The offensive opportunities are there. Just need to play with a little more confidence...

Reiber is working Garza a bit. I would like more, but Myles will be fresher in the second half. Garza looked a little tired towards the end. Need to keep working him hard.

We're making threes, which, along with our defense, will keep us in the game. Gotta find a way to finish around the rim, and of course make our foul shots. It's awesome that we're going toe-to-toe with the number 10 team in the country and it's not a fluke. We're good!

Reiber is going to be good for us. He can hang in there with Iowa.

Caleb will be ok too, but he needs to find himself still. Nice to get his feet a little wet today. Having him down the stretch will be big.
Caleb’s D was good. He just needs to feed others on O. Too many scorers on the team for a guy just off injury to take so many shots.

Caleb, like Reib's and throw Palms in there too, all need to play and take shots to get that confidence. Maybe Iowa isn't the perfect time to get that done, but this conf doesn't give too many oppurtunities to get guys in the flow.

I'd have to see the respective lineups, but Myles and Mulcahy are guys who pass too much, someone needs to take the shots. If Caleb has a good look I say take it.

Playing very well defensively. I’d like to see more of the A team in 2nd half and go with a 7 man rotation in 2nd half. Mulcahy and reiber coming off bench.

refs allowed a really physical 1st half with a ton of no calls on both sides. I fear the inevitable “call a completely different 2nd half” is coming.

We had an extended period of time there when Geo/RHJ were not in the game and we had Caleb/Paul/Reiber (I think) and a couple others in. That’s when Iowa went on their 10-0 run. Gotta make sure we have the right guys on the court, and when we don’t have the right rotation, get a TO or whistle.

Our biggest advantage that we have over them is our quickness. Need to exploit that in the second half
