10 of the next 13 games are against ranked opponents. I can’t recall such a difficult stretch ever in the history of the program. Can anyone else think one?

Northwestern’s emergence has made our schedule tougher since the season started. And we play them twice this year.

Good luck to the team. May everyone stay healthy and the already injured heal quickly. Don’t want to see any covid cases and do want to see fair and consistent officiating .

WE must stay healthy and must only take one game at a time. Every game is so important. We cannot look ahead.

This is by far the best league in college basketball and every game will be tough whether a team is ranked or not

I think for a few years there, the old Big East when they added Louisville, Marquette, Cincinnati along with the gauntlet that was already there was just as tough. It's just that we were so bad back then, it didn't matter

This entire league is a "gauntlet". It will be just as daunting for the rest of the league too.
Before the league games started, some one on BTN actually said that he would not be surprised if the league champion had 7 losses!!!!

Just like last year where everyone was even because only home teams won the first like 15 games or something. It will be tough. Of course in what was supposed to be our big year were riddled with injuries and there is massive depth to the league. Please just make the tourney

Big East had some dominate teams but had some terrible teams too. B1G is tough from top to bottom. No nights off.

All correct but it is time for a Big Ten team to win the National Championship.20 years is a long time. The Big East has 5 since then. The irony of the discussion about the great Big East years is that it was Rutgers primarily and then DePaul which were the bottom feeders. Only Nebraska remotely fits that description this year. I hope that there will be a 15-5 Big Ten team this season which will notch a 1 seed. I don't see it yet. I thought that Illinois was going to be that team and they won't be.There are plenty of Elite 8 candidates in Conference. Hopefully, 1 or even 2 last weekend Minny and Northwestern are good stories, but having them knock off the perceived top is not good for the Conference KenPom.

The B1G has more good teams top to bottom than other conferences this year, but I don't see one that's on the level of Gonzaga and probably also Baylor. How Few gets all those studs to come to a small college in Washington and play in a crap conference is beyond me, but he does it regularly.

In 2008-09 we played the #1, #2, and #3 teams in consecutive games (North Carolina, Pitt, and UConn.. I forget which ranking belonged to which team)
