We should get some kind of data on the refs. How many plays have they been officiated? How many fouls do they call?

How many fouls are called inside the paint?

How many fouls are called THIS game on which players?

It would give all college teams an overview of what kind of ref they're up against, and what their proclivity is for calling fouls / where? Would also indicate if the ref were calling a lot of ticky tack fouls or tended to let them play.

The rankings of the referees by league (e.g. B1G ; Pac 12) could be posted weekly...

Call it ReFowlL% (Referee Fouls / Total plays = Refowl %). Also a 2nd tracking on Refs could be the location of fouls called by the refs yielding (Reflo= 565% Inside the paint + 35 outside)!

WARS: War Against Refs Stealing Games (REfolw% +info gathered from prior games should be helpful in game planning...since we're not only battling home courts vs neutral but also Covid, the opposition, injuries as well as the Fast Whistlin' Refs).

BTW Null HO: the lower the Reflow% number the better the ref.

This would be helpful and what else would be nice is to see all the on air personalities player eval and win/loss track records.

I heard the guys at PENN Moneyball academy talk about this on Sirius once. They were talking about how basketball refs can influence a game and how they wanted to collect the data to prove it. I wonder if the data already exists in the hands of some high roller in vegas.

Vegas should already be tracking this with all the money at stake
