He didn’t get his FIRST foul until the 12:18 mark of the first half. Starting him was completely irrelevant.

This. He was going to foul out of that game no matter what happened. Any objective person who watched that game and doesn't come away with that conclusion is just fooling themselves to make them feel better that somehow this all "evens out"

The fourth and fifth fouls called on Myles were disgraceful and looked every bit the type of called made by a ref on the take. Myles is out there battling in the trenches and gets screwed and shown no respect as one of the top centers in the league(they make those calls on Garza?). Myles is maybe our most even keel, unemotional player. He knows how important he is to the team and knows he needs to stay on the court. He never blew his lid on the court. Rutgers is a player now. We count as the song says, "We're not going to take it anymore!" Should he have gone that far? No. Do I have a problem with him? Absolutely NOT! Myles should should go Connor Mcgregor and say, "I apologize........ TO ABSOLUTELY NOBODY!"

Myles is 100 percent on point, he wasn’t even allowed to play the game proper. I skewered the refs in the podcast this week. Just farcical job by them

yes, but the main concern of the fans was Johnson fouling, regardless of starting or not starting.... we were spot on with that

4th and 5th fouls were fabricated by refs. They were not questionable. He was just standing there both times. Two of his other fouls were borderline but that happens. Unfortunately it happens to him far too much and he deserves to be pissed. No way should he have fouled out yesterday.

The 60 min condensed version is on now. I think its doucoures 3rd foul just a complete fabrication as well. Literally nothing

Myles has every right to be absolutely pissed, but that's a really dumb tweet. It's vague enough that there couldn't be any legal action or league action, IMO, but Pikiell knows what he meant and I'll be very surprised if Coach doesn't discipline him in some way - maybe sit him for a half. That's just his way.

Hope you're wrong.

Myles expressed the emotion at the time when he was hurting the most. Maybe he could "write an apology" to the refs.... like that POS from Mary did after purposely trying to take our QB out of the game(Vedral ankle twist)...

Regardless: we're Rutgers and we F'ING GAVE AT THE OFFICE!!!

Or perhaps dictate it and have someone from the Braille Institute transcribe if for the refs in question.

To be deleted in 3, 2, 1...but he's not wrong...

"There gotta be 3 big cash outs in the gambling world tonight cuz there is no way."

And he's right. Those officials were an abomination. Worst officiating since the days of Burr and Higgins.

Does anybody else think there's a connection to Myles making a comment that "they ref's don't like me" mentioned on air during the Ill. game and then his treatment vs. OSU next game? I did and do.

Was gonna post something to this affect. I thought Douc would start and I was disappointed that Pike decided to start Myles. This is not hindsight. We were 6-0 starting a true freshman with Myles coming off the bench. It was working.

I think Myles thrives on coming into the game, with all 5 fouls intact and feeling like he can dominate and be aggressive. You come off the bench with confidence and an attitude, while the other team is thinking, “ah ****, we should have gotten a lead before he came into the game.”
But the true freshman was hurt, thus we were not able to follow that plan.

Duke is our 3rd string center and was not effective vs OSU. To say starting him would have given us a better chance of winning is a reach.
