Yes home cooking, just like we get at home. That’s basketball so people should stop crying about it and feel good about the trajectory of the season and the program.

You guys can’t even remember just one game ago ? Did you watch the Ilinois game or see the box score ? Nothing seemed peculiar in our favor ?

Did Ohio State get the calls today? Of course. Home teams do. That’s part of the game.

The 5th foul was borderline. He bumped the guy with the body. Doesn’t get called at the RAC but it does on the road.

The 4th turned the momentum of the game. Not the 5th

They were both bad calls but I think the 4th took away any remaining aggressiveness. Since we were up in the first half I am not sure I would have put him back in during the first half after he got his second. That was the time to experiment with small ball. Duke lasted about a minute starting the second half before he fouled again.

Offensive, standing still with position.
OSU's Young , runs interference up the court for their point guard, all second half.?
Explain?
The phantom 4th on Myles was a perfect screen. Unbelievably horrific reffing this game--from start to finish the absolute worst officiated game in any sport I can remember. It's worse than the SJU BigEast tourney game in 2011 because that screw job was at the end. These refs today screwed us ALL GAME.

If you guys don’t know there are unwritten rules of officiating, including favoring stars and home teams, well, I can’t help you.

OSU played better over the 40 minutes. RU couldn’t score later in the game and Myles being on the bench had little to do with that.

I dunno the team seemed to have no trouble scoring in the first half with Myles in the game.

Weak argument man

Stop. giving a player his 2nd or 3rd foul is not the same as fouling out Rutger’s most important player that everyone knew was the big news of the day because of Cliff on two weak weak calls. At most it should have been a no call and then said to Myles watch out.

also those two fouls can be called on every drive to the basket and every screen. As a matter of fact that was the only illegal screen of the game.

Also Rutgers not scoring wasn’t the major issue. The major issue was with Myles out and douc with 4, Ohio state pounded it inside at will to close out the last 8 minutes of the game. With Myles that doesn’t happen or even with douc with less than 4 makes it more difficult. Ohio state scored in the paint or foul line on their final 26 points. That doesn’t happen with myles

In a normal year with actual crowds sure. But in an empty arena, no excuse.

One or all of the refs are paid to make certain calls..

IMO OSU is NOT better than Rutgers. Period.

Put Young / the Other Big in foul trouble and we'd have blown them out by over 25. Also seemed like OSU Young got away with a lot of contact...and if Myles just looked at a player he was hit with a foul. BS!

Myles didn’t score in the first half. Weak argument man. The other guys scored just fine, then went ice cold.

Lol my dude. Good luck winning a game when refs are fouling out your post players on some very very questionable calls. The refs know the game. They can easily swing it either way. You can’t overcome that. Myles just stood there on the last foul and he STILLED got called for the foul. And it was number 5. I’m not even gonna talk about number 4. The OSU guy was screening Young the whole way up the court all game. If you’re gonna call that 4th foul on Myles then maybe call the OSU guy for the foul too. That’s laughable.

RW...it’s good that you do recognize the ‘usual’ officiating handbook. One might think it’s only when fans are there, but why ? Even now, it’s the same. That’s always been the way games are called, pandemic or no pandemic. There’s no conspiracy against Rutgers.

mylesis much more valuable on defense. With him off the floor Ohio state is allowed to go on a 26-9 run or whatever it was. All points being scored in the paint or at the foul line

I 'll have to explain it to you, it wasn't the ref's fault the fans in
the stands got rowdy, so for safety sake, they favored the home team.
