A major step up in competition today. Need to either rise to the occasion or learn some hard lessons.

RU having a bad day, Illinois looking like a Top 10 squad.

Lots of time left, and RU can always get a big run sometime today.

Kind of. I mean they are playing ok D. We can’t shoot. Geo missed a lob to Mathis. Harper can’t hit anything. Maybe we can stop with the NBA talk. He is a good player but not NBA good.

Some of this is because Illinois is a very good team, playing very well. Good scouting as they're smothering Harper and daring other guys to shoot from three and it's working. And Harper is missing tough, contested shots.

Need lots of transition points today....RHJ needs to go to hole so he can get some open looks outside

They r jumping our dribble handoffs . Need to change it and go back door or set a ball screen off it

RU just not matching their intensity. This is where they really miss the RAC crowd

Playing helter shelter on too many trips and they are getting the better shots. Making them helps.

Montez proving you doubters wrong. Such an important piece because we have guys in the roster who just can’t play in a game like this. Need to ride him and young

this is true, Illinois is legit Big 10 title contender. Their two best players are better than anyone we have. This is a significant jump up in competiton from Maryland. RU has perhaps a deeper talented team so thats where we can win this game

We can't hang with them it's going to be a blow out if we don't step it up. They're just too quick.
