This is the future of not only wrestling but all American sports. Private clubs competing with each other.

The RTCs are more important than the college programs and once they secure some high paying media coverage they will be able to pay their athletes fairly well. The coverage disputes have already begun.

Goodale and company can’t be asleep at the wheel. We need a powerhouse RTC and we need it yesterday

I don’t see it. Without huge student bodies and alumni fan bases to cheer them on, few will pay to go to see them or watch them on pay-per-view.

however I agree we need a strong RTC , but for recruiting and development purposes.
Flo comes up with content like the RTC Tournament out of necessity to stem all the cancellations of their subscribers due to no real college wrestling since last March .

We won’t be in the running for elite guys after a while. We could get very good wrestlers but won’t get the killers unless we’re part of the RTC league.

To get athletes to join our RTC we need to raise funds through the SKWC. Get your checkbooks out and join the RU Boom Club and Pin Pool and SKWC membership. I am in all 3!

We have to get more creative with how we finance the program And/or increase the level of urgency on increasing funding.

You need a big donor for a program like Rutgers.Or need every season ticket holder to donate $1,000 every year

The godfather has spoken with his usual wisdom. We all need to take ownership of this organization and make sure it succeeds. "All can do is all you can do, and all you can do is enough". Thanks to everyone for doing their part. $$$$

a 100 dollars from every ticket holder would do it. a 1000 dollars for 4 years would fund it in perpetuity

I like your enthusiasm.
To put $1,000 into something you enjoy and care about isn't crazy.Just think how quick you can spend $1,000 these days.I will put up $1,000 right now for Rutgers Wrestling if I can get 50 others to do the same.Screen shot the checks guys

Join the Boom Club at the $1200 level over 12 months. That is not too much to ask. If you can do more like $3000 over 12 months great. More than than great. Just go on SKWC website for details. Thanks guys for stepping up.

RTC's are great for training partners, but it remains to be seen whether these RTC leagues and competitions will generate any real money now or in the future once everything gets back to normal. I hope they do. Right now fans are clamoring for anything, so these events keep wrestling alive, but a lot of folkstyle fans aren't freestyle wrestling fans so there's that hurdle. I love wrestling and wrestled freestyle as well, but I much prefer watching folkstyle. Many times they don't even show the Summer Olympics wrestling on TV and if they do it's pieces on NBC's version of the Ocho or streaming.

What fundraising ideas do you have? Do you donate at least $1,000? Should we be donating more to the SKWC or Rutgers wrestling program, as both need $?

Great idea. As I asked above, would it be for SKWC or Rutgers wrestling program?

I meant SKWC when I said Rutgers wrestling. If you donate to Rutgers Wrestling thru the university it's not a guarantee that Wrestling gets all the $.When I donate to a school I always donate to the club

The NJRTC won $25,000 in the RTC Cup. How much of this money goes to the SKWC or does it all go to the Princeton Wrestling Club? Hope we get half of it.
