If the university requires proof of vaccination in order to enter the stadium next September?

That's assuming of course that Murphy will add three zeroes to his current outdoor limit of 25.

Put a wristband on me. I don't give a frack. People wear them to get in and out of bars all the time.
At first I thought NFW. Now, id be happy to put a band on my middle finger and show it to all the celler dwellers.

I've decided to get the vaccine because I check all the boxes for a vulnerable person. Not so much for RU football, but to basically travel interstate. As it is now, theoretically, I can't go to the Parx casino in PA and bet the farm on RU because I need to have a negative Covid test within a 72 hour period. Then when I return to NJ I would need to self quarantine for 14 days. Then, when RU wins and I go back to get my winnings, I need to have another negative test to get into PA, then another 14 day quarantine when I return to NJ with my winnings. I'm hoping that a proof of vaccination would allow me to travel unencumbered

I'll just go to the tailgate, hang out, watch the game on TV in the parking lot with friends and enjoy the win in tailgate part 2 waiting for the roads to clear. All good.

I'll take the vaccine eventually but certainly not the first or 2nd release of it unless it becomes mandatory to travel as I would need to travel again for work once things open completely back up.

You could wear a full-on Tyvek suit...big R in the front and various Knight logos...maybe the jersey outline!

My solution to the 50% that don't want it. Start a list and require a $50 refundable deposit to be on it.

Why? The BS 50% that say they won't get will jump on it and either have to shut up and get it or lose the fifty bucks. Watch how that would change things.

Not sure what the issue is. If you want to go to events, travel, etc, you get the vaccine. Otherwise, stay in your basement.

Isn't that the kind of empowering personal choice you wanted all along?
This coming from someone who hasn't been out from under his bed in 9 months. And yes Gettysburg was fun with about 20 of us there for festivities standing shoulder to shoulder at 3 monuments and in the cemetery as we saluted those who fought there. At night we enjoyed adult beverages and food in one of the 2 houses on Baltimore street we rented. We all survived . Thanks for asking how it went.

Lol, I give you credit for just rolling with the G-burg thing.

It sounds like we gonna be reversing the "under your bed" thing in a few months, tho.
My wife son and I went with our reenactment unit the 12th NJVI. Rented 2 houses on Baltimore street. Some stayed at the houses , some stayed at a hotel and a member and his wife brought their camper and camped at a local campsite. We do have a face book site with pictures posted from the festivities if you would like to see people who are living their lives without fear.

Reenactment group ...that's worse than apple picking, lmao!
Learned a lot over the 30 years of doing it. Made a lot of friends , traveled to many states across this great country and helped raise money to preserve the fields that these men fought on. We have helped preserve land at Cedar Creek Battlefield , 3rd Winchester Battlefield , and Cedar Mountain Battlefield in Virginia to name a few. We are currently working on saving land at Franklin Battlefield in Tenn. and even Gettysburg . You don't have to thank us for our efforts it is what we feel is the right thing to do. But you are welcome anyway. Now what have you accomplished from under your bed ?

As a veteran of 3 wars, (And wounded for my country), A country of home of the free and land of the Brave, Who put my life on the line for Freedom, And someone who has researched the Vaccine's. I won't take one. My body my choice, Now you can fire away and call me whatever names you want. That's how it works right? If someone has a different opinion attack the character of the person. I must be a basement dweller?

You are one of the reason's my son and I reenact . Although , I think , you missed the Civil War , it is important to remember and keep alive the sacrifice people like you made and we MUST continue to preserve the fields these men fought on. Once those fields are paved over they are gone forever. Thank you for your service and God bless you .

Those who don't want the vaccine are idiots.

Did they refuse MMR, IPV, Varicella, HPV (Women), Pneumovax, Diphtheria/Tetanus ... etc.

If you didn't get these and other inoculations, does anyone really want these people / their children next to you, in your school, church or at the stadium?

Easier, safer.... just get the inoculation and STFU.

That's a fantastic attitude. You obviously don't care if you catch it, but if you did and passed it on to someone who got really sick or died, that would be no biggie, right?

Not falling for your crap about trying to make me feel guilty . Also went to NY on Thanksgiving with people from 4 other households. Nobody complained . Now take your crap and go after the numerous public servants who have gone against their own EO's. Have a good night.

Why do I need to pump my body full of crap for a virus that statistically might make me sick for 2 days? Why should my kids? Olds, fats, and sick people should be pumped to get this shot. What’s next mandatory flu vaccines?

Why didn’t those people get the vaccine? If they got sick and died they obviously had the right to get it before me because they are old or unhealthy.

Why aren't people allowed to take care of themselves?A vaccine isn't needed for this virus. It merely takes DAILY-as in the rest of your life-use of quercetin,zinc,D3,astaxathin,DHEA,and melatonin with goldenseal being added when you're not feeling well.I take more than this and have been doing so since the 1980's.(I wished that I knew about goldenseal 20 years ago.I'd still have my gall bladder).

These substances won't solve all of your health problems, but they act as if they're red kryptonite to this virus.

Olds, fats, and sick people are actually — you know — people. It’s almost as if you’re denigrating them to make a point that their lives are less valuable than yours.

There are mandatory inoculations for schools... if they reduce the risk (and they do) why are you or anyone on this board against getting an injection that could reduce the severity of the disease if you get it / allow the medical community to recover from the surge that's happening now!

Not at all. They should be getting the vaccine. I want both my parents to get it. Why should I get it when it won’t kill me. Probably won’t even slow me down. Let the most needy get it.

Why shouldn’t you get it? Everyone should get it. Let the most needy get it first, sure. But let’s put the nail in the coffin of this friggin thing.

Have you ever been to an ER? If not congratulations.

I have on several occassions.

It's no fun. Now add in whatever conditions I have to the pandemic / you've got quite a toxic stew.

If you catch a disease that your mix of herbs / supplements doesn't mitigate, what is your back up plan: "Hi, I've got "X" and didn't get the vaccine...cure me"?

There aren’t mandatory inoculations in NJ. I don’t need to reverse the severity if I get it. It isn’t severe for me. If the old, fat and unhealthy get it first , the hospitals won’t be over run. Easy
