Yes- Coach Pikiell was in the class behind Cliff Robinson's class.

Pikes was a freshman in Robinson's Sophomore year, a sophomore in Robinson's junior year.

Coach Pikiell redshirted in Robinson's senior year. I think he redshirted that year with a shoulder injury.

Cause of death hasn’t yet been announced but Cliff had a stroke 2 years ago and I believe a brain hemorrhage as well several years ago

Very sad. I knew he had a good and long NBA career, but I didn't truly realize how good until I read a bunch of the articles over the weekend. Amazingly productive and consistent over a long period.
