We all know the rac is a big advantage. A rac without fans, who knows? Even pike thanks the fans and says it’s a major factor in the team’s success. With no fans, do we stink like we do on the road and neutrals ? The fans make the rac . Pike says it’s a difference. But how much ?

We actually don’t stink in the road. We were “in” EVERY road game deep into the 2nd half, and worst losses were 12 and 11 points.

I truly feel that the team put it all together and learned how to win on the road in the Purdue game. That win is going to give the team confidence going forward, and we are going win many more road games this coming year.

To more directly answer the question... this is a really good team, probably top 4 in the B1G. Sure, we will be hurt by not having the crowd at the RAC, but no more than every other home team will be hurt.

Plus we will be better on the road, so it will be a wash. I’m still predicting 8-3 OOC, 14-6 B1G, for a 22-9 regular season. How we do in the B1G tournament will dictate whether we get a 4 seed or a 6 seed in the NCAA tournament.

And those two "worst" losses were both in December, IIRC, to MSU and Pitt. Just about every other game was a nail biter, including many of the home games.

Perhaps it’s a wash without fans ? Lose a few more at home, win a few more away

This team is LOADED and LOCKED IN to what needs to be done

Home and road isn’t going to matter as much this year...and apparently Pike is scheduling to make sure this team is fully seasoned and ready for a deep run this March
