OT: 93 NBA finals NBC intro

These nbc intros in the 90s were the best . Straight fire. Made you want to lace em up and run through a brick wall . Def was great growing up in the 90s and watching NBA on nbc on Sunday and the playoffs and finals .

Speaking of intros, it would be awesome to see Rutgers come out to the Bulls intro song from the 90’s (Sirius- The Alan Parsons Project)!

At the time, it might have been the best of any of the major sports, though maybe that's not saying much...and Costas was solid in his heyday (even though I've generally liked him more for baseball). Also, my comment was about the specific intro for that game in particular, as there were likely better intros from other games of that Finals series, earlier series in the '93 playoffs, or in other years before/after. That one for game 3 in '93 Finals didn't ring out as particularly compelling, just my opinion.

In terms of NBC covering the NBA when it had their contract, I did think it had a good thing going during that stretch. Didn't mind Marv Albert and he delivered in the booth. I could have done without Ahmad Rashad and his slurping MJ and the Bulls.

Something about those intros - mostly the song - brings me back and reminds me of first falling in love with sports. I started watching sports in spring 1993 and I loved the Knicks. Here's a guy's opinion of the 30 best NBA on NBC intros. None of them did anything for me especially but I just loved watching the song over and over. lol

I went through them watching one per day, just stretching out every piece of entertainment I can get so I have things to look forward to that aren't the everyday things
