Losing 4 of 6 top scorers. Yikes.

Well its not like they did that much with these guys.
Considering he's 25-85 overall, this past season's 7-13 ACC record sounds like he is trending up, slowly.

I wouldn’t mind having a Hockey program like theirs. I do think being in the ACC though, has not done much to elevate the major sports.

It's hurt their sports. They assumed the position that Maryland use to have in the acc. Red headed step child. The Tobacco Road mafia considered Maryland a bunch of yankees. God only knows what they think of those chaps in Bawston.

I'm not sure they are even considered the red headed step child. More like the homeless kid who hangs around the neighborhood.

No hope from hafley yet either..aside from the QB who was set to commit to addazio due to his GF going to Boston University. Not a big win then. Flood would've landed that kid.

No commits for this year's class under hafley. All 3 came under addazio. Bc cheaped out on Hafley's staff

BC has some talent in hoops, but it's wildly mismanaged...they have had 2 NBA draft picks in Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman, but it comes down to lack of fan support and no regional rivals. Not getting Cuse, UConn, Providence, Georgetown and others of the old Big East into their building, crushed their identity and history.

The days of Michael Adams and Dana Barros as the high wire act are over....it's a program that doesn't know how to recruit to it's identity, there's no Bill Curley type of players that could fit the New England market. There's talent everywhere but they even lost Chris Herren Jr to transfer earlier this month as a freshman....

Yeah I bet he’s really hurting financially.

who knows i do not know how much he spends on his lifestyle but i was referring to Boston College as a whole. optically it doesn't look good to fire people right now especially when you cant properly interview their replacement. Also not sure if BC is doing it but some colleges are sending back room and board checks and what not to the students who were forced to leave campus. that adds up.

The coaching carousel seems awfully light this year as well. so far 20 D1 openings. last year there was 60 or so. some schools may be feeling the same way.

Any idea of the staff budget for Hafley? Wonder if he got a similar budget to Ash. If so, he's toast.

Interesting BC using COVID as 'cover' to keep the BB coach. Sounds like they are being cheap there as well.

IDK but he offered what the bc writers thought was a record amount for a DC to AC and it wasn't in the ballpark of competing with us or Michigan's offers

Considering his DC wound up being Tem Lukabu, you can see where this is going. Granted, Tem was probably hired for his recruiting prowess & Hafley will probably run the defense anyway, but still, you could see that the purse strings were a bit tight.

Boston College is also lucky they have 4 OOC games. Win 3 and halfway to bowl. I wish we had the same schedule.

BC's best men's sport is probably Ice Hockey. Hockey up in beantown is like football in Texas, Alabama, and Florida.

And yet they fired Skinner afte going 247–165 and 1 year after an NCAA appearance and NCAA's 7 out of his last 10 years including a sweet 16 and a Big East conf Champion. I know it's not racism 'cause its never racism. It's just a peculiar set of circumstances that looks like racism.
