I think everyone is forgetting the LEGAL ramifications. The crisis teams are meeting with their lawyers and are being advised to shut down in order NOT to be sued in case someone gets infected in their venue, office, school etc. The personal injury lawyers are always circling like sharks. Of course, medical issues are also part of the equation.

Everyone will not. People like you will. You will see the infection and mortality numbers were lower than your expectation of what a pandemic is and fail to realize the cancellation of large public gatherings, hundreds of quarantines worldwide, and travel restrictions had a lot to do with that fact. When this outbreak began there were a lot of people claiming this wasn't as serious as SARS because the mortality rate (roughly 3%) was substantially less than the SARS virus (roughly 10%) in 2002 -- 2003 (BTW: the 2003 FIFA Woman's World Cup was moved from China to the US because of the SARS outbreak in Asia). Fast forward a few months and we've seen that more people have died from COVID-19 than were infected by SARS, which renders that observation mute. Now many of the same people are saying COVID-19 isn't worse than the flu, which is interesting because the difference in the mortality rate is 10 times that of the flu which was less than the justification that SARS was worse. Once again, these people will ignore the positive impact of quarantines, cancellation of events, and travel restrictions that have deterred the spread of the disease which are NOT in place to contain influenza.

Do I believe people are overreacting? Yes. But I also believe people like you are ignoranuses (spelled correctly). It is also understandable in my opinion to suspend sporting events because we live in a litigation society. People who have loved ones die or developed serious consequences from the disease will play the lawsuit lotto and sue MLB / NBA / NHL for wrongful death or some other reason. If I owned a nightclub I would temporarily close it now because the disease is in my area (the daycare center my daughter worked at 3 years ago is closed for COVID-19, the restaurant at the base of the drive to my son's apartment is closed for COVID-19, and Georgia's first death recently happened at the closest hospital to my home).

This guy talks about someone else’s IQ, but uses the word “ain’t”. Special kind of stupid I guess.

God doesn’t hate anything.

Not true. For example, the Bible speaks of God’s hate in Psalm 5:

“The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes;

You hate all who do iniquity.

You destroy those who speak falsehood;

The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.

Psalm 5:5-6

Hmmm, somebody has a Biblical Concordance.

Hmmm, somebody has a Biblical Concordance.

If you are asking whether I have memorized the entire Bible — no. I often have to look up passages for specific propositions or to see if God addressed certain issues in His word.

However, I also know that people often misquote God by saying that He loves everybody or that we are all God’s children, etc. Misquoting God is blasphemy.

So I pointed out the blasphemy included in the statement I addressed.

I understand your response; a lot of people are offended by God’s word.

I literally would be happy to send you a Bible if you don’t have one. Shoot me your private msg with your address.

Thanks!

You quoted Psalm 5.

That's not God's word. It's the word of a 3,000 year-old Jewish guy.

Why would you assume that someone who knows what a Bible Concordance is doesn't have a Bible? I have both, thank you. Youngs for the young, Strongs for the strong, and Crudens for me.

Don’t know.

I don’t own any concordances— other than the ones in the back of some of my Bibles.
