They should change the location of the Final Four. Why convert a football stadium into a basketball court if there are no fans there?

Play the tournament on outdoor courts in a warm weather climate. That way the players, staffs, and essential personnel are not in a confined indoor area.

Yea considering they build all those extra stands for the fans at the final four obviously they won’t be doing that now. They aren’t going to put a tiny basketball court randomly on the 50 yard line of a football stadium. The Final Four will be held probably in the NBA arena in Atlanta.
Do you think there will be less upsets with no fans? Usually the crowd gets behind the underdog in those tight games.

Move it somewhere rural.. like Nebraksa.. somewhere that has a nearby military hospital or some facility if quarantine or testing and treatment end up being necessary.

People have this 2 week thing stuck in their heads.. though it should be 3-4 weeks since they have seen people incubate for up to 24 days. But perhaps the NCAA will try to have the Final Four attended. Lots of powerful network execs and corporate sponsors with tickets.. probably select politicians as well..

This isn't the Black Death. The chances of a healthy, college age athlete who would die from this is so near to zero it can't be calculated.
All the cancellations are for one reason. Liability issues and the lawsuits that come with it.

Just a few months ago I visited New Richmond, Indiana, which was the setting for “Hickory.” I’ve lived in a very small, rural Indiana town for almost 40 years, but man, New Richmond is REALLY off the beaten path—not easy to get to. My understanding is that the film makers drove from west to east just south and then north of Indianapolis until they found this small place that hadn’t changed much from the 50s. We happened on the church where they had the meeting to decide the coach’s fate kind of by accident. Both of these places you can find by scrolling through the above site. Of course, Hinkle Fieldhouse at Butler U. is the best. They did a nice job renovating it not too long ago. It’s a National Historic Landmark.
