He doesn't say anything but his social media vibes - give off that it's been RU all along. He has an unusual high amount of interest - in things Rutgers related. He acts like an RU fan. Outside of visits to ASU & Auburn - their are no traces of him giving a crap about either school. Who knows really -- but it looks obvious, as to where he'd really prefer to be

Seems that a lot of people in the know, including all 10 crystal ball predictions on 247 and Jerry Carino seem to think that he's headed to ASU.

Hope that turns out to be wrong, but I'm not going to expect a commitment with that kind of uniform response.

Glad to hear BKin118 is hearing otherwise, which gives me some hope. I've had too many Lance Thomas moments in my Rutgers history to be positive about predictions, though.

Maybe mention the player that is on topic? Didn't even say this commit helped yada yada just no mention of Cliff

I have not heard anything specific but have had a couple of adamant people that feel good about this recruitment. I am not sure where the experts that follow recruiting have gotten their information but I believe the sources for the RU optimism, are very valid.

It would potentially be 5 straight recruiting classes where RU 2017 with Geo Baker through 2021 with Jaden Jones, where RU is adding multiple impact players that fit the culture of the program. Kids that are willing to buy in on the defensive end of the court and play within the team concepts. Cliff is at heart, a defensive terror, who takes away points at the rim and adds easy or baskets at or above the rim. It just fits or makes too much sense for this to be RU, but it is college hoops recruiting. There isn't any real reason for Cliff to not pick RU, based on where the program stands today.

I sent the two fingers of death at the ASU basketball arena yesterday. If he chooses RU it is because of me. If not? I don't know you.

Might not mean a thing. But anyone else notice that on his Instagram - he changed his bio picture, to the one he took in the Rutgers uniform. He just cropped out the body. But its that exact same rutgers pic

That's one of those things that might not seem meaningful but probably is

Order of the two-deep is up for debate but man, sign me up for this. Cliff really would make next year tourney or bust

I have little faith in this but some kids at an RU party that Cliff attended said Cliff indicated that he was coming. Again, that’s from current students that know my kid. It’s not reliable info imo but I thought I would share it with the board. I’m waiting as eager as anyone to get the real announcement.

Do not underestimate Mag or even Palmquist. If I were Pikiell I would look to take a sitout to fill an extra ship that any transfer might open.

You're also forgetting Mulcahy.

Think we could use another grad transfer at the 3/4 or stretch 4 ; kind of like quazi this year . Needs to be able to defend 4s and shoot the 3s. Besides Harper , we don’t have anyone proven behind him

Makes too much sense. Pike has a team of less heralded recruits (at least by recruiting analysts) on the brink of the NCAA's for the first time since '91. Imagine what Pike will do when he starts regularly landing blue chippers. Cliff 'The Pied Piper' Omoruyi step on down. The '21 class is off to an amazing start with Jaden Jones and could be historic.

Back in the Bronx when I was a kid it was referred to as Taylor ham, probably because no one would eat it eat if they knew it was pork. lol
Reminds me of when I taught part time at MCC - in discussing monopolies I offered student the monopoly for selling pork roll sandwiches in Jerusalem. He jumped at the offer and when I told him Jews don’t eat pork he said that was ok because he could still sell to Palestinians. Sheesh

It really does make total and absolute sense. -Everything he needs is right here...the media exposure, the league, the level of competition, the fans, the facilities, and on and on.

And as far as any alluded to financial considerations are concerned, should Big Cliff show out during his RU career, (and I've no doubt at all he will in a major way), he'll be pulling down so much afterwards he'll probably be able to buy his own country. (And yes, that's hyperbole, but with what players make in the NBA these days, it's not all that much of one.)
At least an Island somewhere

What, pray tell are the two fingers of death? That's not a double-birdie is it?

He may be referring to the Italian “malocchio” or evil eye, which is symbolized by holding up two fingers, the forefinger and pinky, and cursing your enemy.

Old world curses are downright creepy.
