Well, where's that crow you need to eat. No worries man. We all want the best for our team. And now we have it. Some of us were just a bit more optimistic than you, but in the end, we can all celebrate together.

I actually thought of you today when seconds ticked away and wondered how you were feeling. Seems like you are just as jacked up as the rest of us.

You weren’t the only one.

There were plenty of people this past month saying this wasn’t a tournament team, Pikiell reached his ceiling and even someone who dismissed Geo Baker’s ability and relevance to this team (after he clearly wasn’t healthy). Not gonna call anyone out but ya’ll know who you are.

You’ll probably be the only one who fesses you. Kudos to you and enjoy the ride.

Credit to pike, he did a couple things we (me especially) vocally criticized him for. After NW every 2 for 1 opportunity he took for the most part and you could tell the players made an effort to get them. He shortened the bench and started playing JY Montez and Geo together which is by far and away our best guard combo and guess what? The results came as we said they would.

he has significant room for growth though, we still need to develop a half court offense, we still need to run sets and ideally we need to replace one assistant with an offensive coordinator who knows offensive basketball. I still want to see those things happen.

It's really all aboard the bandwagon now. There should be no more doubters at this point. Let's all just love every second of these next two tournaments and I have a feeling we might witness something special
