i would normally agree with you, but I wasn’t impressed at the Michigan game with the student turnout. Especially in the band section.

Right and thats an issue right there...we have 40k students..wtf is going on..is this limiting them to not crowd the section or are they not interested. We have a couple hundred great students but quite frankly that section is nowhere near the section from the good years in the 80s 90s and 00s

I completely agree. It’s ridiculous. Sit in the 300’s. No need whatsoever to take up double the space that you need to take up, just like the band, and sit on your hands for the entire game. Complete waste and not fair to the student body!

That’s a myth. I sit near them and they don’t crowd in that tightly. Take a look 5 minutes before game time tonight and the student section will be 50-60% full with an occasional straggler coming in.
