Looks like if RU avoids the 11th spot..Michigan is our most likely opponent in the 8-9 game

Stanford wins

These schools in Pac 12 are not good. Easy picks against in NCAA tourney

And every year a PAC 12 school is underrated and does very well... Oregon, Washington... proceed with caution... Stanford for instance has a nice big man and plays good d.

If Indiana loses 1 more then we can’t be 11 I think because we beat them . Not sure what would happen if Purdue loses one and beats us and we lose to Maryland too . Don’t even want to think about that . Could be a three way tie for 11th with us Indiana and Purdue . Maybe they would go to overall record head to head between 4 teams . In that case , Indiana would lose out

We’re not close to being out of the woods yet as far as avoiding Wednesday night. If we win a game then we’re good.

was looking at nc states resume...they have wins over wisconsin and duke (both at home) and a good road win against virginia..besides that they have nothing to speak of in terms of quality wins ) they also lost twice to georgia tech and unc and lost to bc as well....so you can say we only have 1 road win , but we also don't have home losses like they have. So while I think the road variable is true, how about bad home losses; this should be worse than not winning on the road and be penalized as well.

also, arkansas on the bubble too is crazy i think..they have a few road wins against teams just outside the tourney, but I guess there 1 win AT indiana is carrying now. Besides them, they have no wins against anyone projected in the tourney and are 6-10 in the sec

its an okay resume with flaws, that win vs Duke puts them in the discussion of course and is better than any of our wins...they have three Q3 losses. Really holds them back. They will likely have to pick up a quality win the ACC tourney which means beating one of the top 3 again. Would not want to be in their shoes

THis is why I think our win vs maryland probably puts us in for sure..We'd have wins against Seton Hall, Penn State, and Maryland plus wisconsin (indiana and Illinois too)...Those wins are way more than other bubble teams have even if they are at home. still have to beat really good teams at home

I do not like Arkanas at all for exactly what you say...however their SOS is strong and that is going to be looked at favorably even without the wins....plus without their star player Isiah Joe, they lost 5 in a row..committee will consider that..they also will consider that even with Joe back they suffered a hideous loss to Georgia over the weekend. I think they will likely have to pick up a big quality win in the SEC tourney..ie Kentucky or Auburn to legit make a case. Wins vs Fla/LSU will not cut it.

its going to elevate our profile in many ways...we would be 7-9 vs ncaa projected schools...better than anyone on the bubble

I meant any analysis. He is clear eyed and free of emotion. You? Not so much.

You clearly dont read here often enough....ask bac if referees have an impact on games and see who fans agree with here....from someone who knows 2 active college hoops referees vs someone that says calls don't matter on how a game is called or how a team can be placed into the bonus for FTs much faster than they should etc....

Purdue at Iowa
This is a huge game for Purdue. A win vaults them right back onto the bubble, while a loss buries them deeper.

If you weren't a Rutgers fan: Maryland at Rutgers

Vanderbilt at Alabama

If there was ever a game we could use a huge home whistle advantage to help us out this is it. Refs could decide this game. Call a quick two on Smith instead of Myles
