There was a recent thread on the football board that was good, I added some thoughts in there.

If you are from out of town in a place with good restaurants, go to the hole in the wall places. Pizza, ME spots...the fine dining in NB isn't really fine dining.

Love Sophies. And the owners are so incredibly nice, take care of my grandmother whenever she is there. Best burger in town.

Stick to lacrosse. Several fine dining spots in NB that can hold their own with the best restaurants in NJ and even NYC.

Big issue with the RAC as opposed to some other B1G arenas is that there is virtually no eateries within walking distance. Only one is Henry’s diner and during a lot of winter it is not open. Have had many away Midwest fans come up to me outside the arena and ask where is a place to go get some pizza, want to experience jersey pizza. This is after they already paid to park. Sadly there is nothing.

I always said a smaller version of the yard in that grass opening right next to Henry’s in front of the RAC with the bottom floor a real jersey pizza place and a Buffalo Wild Wings would make an absolute killing, not only all year with students but before every single event that the RAC has
