Agreed. We are a 12-14 place BIG team and always will be.

We will never get the best NJ recruits, nor the lanky farm boys who can shoot. Just do not belong in this league.

The team isn’t the problem. Look at these guys. They are uninspired, it’s so fvcking obvious.

These are 20 year old kids, Pike needs to do his job and fire them up.

playcalling has almost nothing to do with why they struggle on offense. They struggle because they have almost no talent on that end of the court. It's a roster of kids that will work hard and can defend but cannot shoot straight.

You must not understand basketball.

There is no movement or spacing on the offensive end. We don’t do ANYTHING to create opportunity. This **** we run is worse than my middle school rec league

Just not true, im sorry. Staff is doing NOTHING to put these kids in positions to succeed and get them good looks

There is not a scheme around that could make them look good offensively.

there is nothing that could be done to make them succeed on that end of the court against elite defenses

At this point it is what it is. He hasnt made adjustments throughout his career. His career at the ends of season, both RU and SB are disappointing. Teams figure him out and he falters

Rutgers is a over achieving team with a amazing 17-1 record at the RAC.On the road the offensive woes are obvious and the defense has done a poor job defensing the 3 point shot.

I agree I would rather not make a pissing match, but the last 4 Rutgers recruiting classes have ranked 10th or worse in the Big Ten. And many of those players have left the program. And I think everyone would agree that they are more skilled defensively than offensively.

So that leaves kids that would probably rank no better than 12th or so in the conference by recruiting rankings and currently rank 9th in the conference in adjusted O efficiency in conference play this season. And how exactly is that a condemnation of coaching??? By some random fans that think they know how to coach offense???

The simple fact that Rutgers has improved every season under him should open them up to better recruits.

recruiting being poor the last 4 years is on Rutgers being terrible forever. Kids want to go to winning programs. I think it's safe to assume Pikiell should get better players going forward.

Is that a complicated topic that needs explanation?

This is fake news. Recruiting isn’t even poor. There are times where we have FOUR 4 star guys on the court at the same time.

I’m so tired of this crap. What are you watching.

Missing a pure point guard and a few shooters. Whether it’s a backcourt scorer or one these bigs that can step out that schools like Michigan and Wisconsin always seem to have, RU doesn’t have either. Our bigs aren’t skilled at playing the high post, they are strictly low block players.

Oh, and we aren’t worth a damn at the foul line.
