If you view it objectively, he’s not wrong.
That’s what everyone has been saying about this team the entire year on a national level. Instead of crying about it like a child, step up, punch someone in the mouth, and win a damn game on the road.
Face it, this team is soft.
I wouldn't say soft. I would say under talented. We just don't have any real difference makers. When your entire lineup is full of under the radar guys and lots of underclassmen, this is what you get. Maybe with more upperclassmen it will be different.
Most fans which includes myself aren’t being negative during this crash... it is looking at things as a realistic outsider...we don’t shoot well ...we have been exposed on D from 3...Our big men are not producing inside ... Myles has hit the wall or is being over protected by Piekell... the kid needs to start regardless ... if he fouls he fouls he might surprise and play better with a few early fouls...where has McConnell gone?... The great Shaq Carter an early fav of the coaching staff has he played?... it’s not us fans being rags... it’s stepping back a and realizing we are ahead of schedule but not NCAA Dance ready...
Yep we are no NCAA team just like those other 13 teams that lost to Wisconsin in their arena. Illinois was the only team that won in there and by 1 point. And we know from recent games that we are way way worse than Illinois, we’d probably lose to them by 15. Gimme a break
Do you honestly think getting to the tourney for the first time in 30 years was going to be easy . Yea I’m frustrated that we can’t win a road game and wrap this up but at least we control our own fate . Was never going to be easy . Let if play our first and see what happens
I can't find it within myself to criticize this team, we all knew this was going to a long haul. When we
agreed to come into the Big 10 first thing that came into my mind was the travel, we and Maryland have it rough
belonging to a Mid West conference. These kids are not professionals, they must study and maintain their grades and so on.
You know how far away most of these games are. Most of these schools have many short trips. We have Maryland.

This is high school or small college ball where you are going to games by bus. They fly to every game. Do you really think the extra 30 minutes on the flight once a week is hurting college kids in great physical shape?
