avoiding the 8/9 game in the B10 tourney so they dont have to get walloped by Maryland is key

Pretty close to a 'Must game' for RU W BB. RU stands at 18-8, 8-7, and fighting for another regular season win, and it won't be easy. Ohio St is 10-5 in Big10, 17-9 overall and they are 'hot', winning their last 6 in a row. After Ohio St, RU finishes with tough opponents in Indiana and Iowa. RU probably needs to win 1 of it's last 3, and then it's first game in the Big10 Tournament, to reach 20 wins and assure itself of an NCAA berth. 19 wins might not do it. IF RU could somehow win 2 of the last 3 games, all at home, they probably secure a first round bye.

Always hated that term for 3 point shooting.
But a lot better being just ponytails, as you stated, than the blond ponytail designation of years ago.
But truth is RU must start making 3s in games to have a better chance to win.
So tired of watching wide open 3's against us. OSU 4 freshman averaging 9 to 12 per game. Must be nice. 7 players on OSU have made 16 3's or more. They also defend well.
RU tied it and then blew it...why take a rushed shot....take the last shot.....down 6 and big girl is just toying with them right now

Jordan Wallace as the only inside threat kills this team against anyone who can (1) shoot the 3 and (2) also has a big giant girl inside
This is the most frustrating team to watch of all our sports. And we have lots. There is talent and Cviv will always be able to recruit that on herself alone but the gameplay is just simply not there.
If our opponents play a very specific way (miss lots, guards don’t get back so we can run in transition), we can win against all else. But if they deviate from that plan (shoot well, get back and force us to run halfcourt offense), we have no other way to win.
