You're as negative about BBall as you are football.
There's literally nothing to be negative about with football. And sorry, I just think that our fans gloating that we'd beat illinois by ten+ if they had a fully healthy, arguably best player in the big ten playing that night sound like complete jack***es

No one is gloating. No one recalls Illinois being at full strength in the first meeting at IU. Yet, they trailed most of the game and won it by only 3 points. By the same token of IU being at full strength against Rutgers at the RAC, can you give Rutgers the same opportunity of winning at IU with a healthy Geo in the lineup? It works both ways. Rutgers lost by 3 and Geo is good for 11 points

if you saw the first game you'd know we were the better team. I think you know what jackasses sound like because you know yourself.

Can’t trust the judgement of anybody that has Ash as his handle on this forum. Talk about an all time big whiff.

Not to be too picky, but IU is Indiana. UI is Illinois. You are not UR. It matters to fans of the team.

From a UI fan point of view, Illinois played terribly at home against RU and still won. You need a few of those.

RU likely wins at home against UI, even with Ayo. Ayo makes games interesting, though. He has made clinching baskets in road wins against Wisconsin, Michigan and PSU.

I have been complimentary of RU since before the season. I still think RU needs to win a big road game to get more respect.

Illinois is obviously a better team with Dosumnu on the floor. But let’s not forget that they had dropped three straight with him in the lineup before we blew their doors off.

Dosunmu is a great player, but I'd say "best player in the Big Ten" is a stretch.

We were hot that night shooting the ball, and when our offense and defense are both clicking, we are hard to beat, especially at home. We beat PSU by 9 at home with their full complement of players, and we could also have beaten Illinois by that much with Dosunmu. Not saying we *would* have, but to think that we *couldn't have* doesn't make any sense.
