The most *consistently* clutch player I’ve ever watched besides maybe Stephen Curry
Curry consistently underperforms in big ganes. He was flat out horrible is GSW first trip to the finals and then shot 5-20 against Cleveland in game 7 when they blew the 3-1 lead.

Baker needs to not be sloppy with his passes, Young & Mathis have to stop forcing it & it will help us a great deal.

Disappeared with the rest of the team in the second half. Worst scenario is when he feels like he needs to do it all by himself.

Wrong. He wants to do it all by himself. He killed the momentum every time we build a lead.

Wrong lol. He’s clearly the alpha down the stretch of games. As the only guy truly capable of creating his own shot for us, we rely heavily on him when the offense goes cold.

No ones complaining when those “selfish” shots are dropping

Most times his shots miss. Over and over again. 38% from the field. 27% from 3. You can imagine in your head all you want that is the "alpha" but he hurts the team by thinking he is Steph Curry no matter how many shots he misses. He is simply a poor shooter.

I agree that he’s not a great shooter but I don’t think the stats tell the entire story this year. The thumb injury clearly contributed to his late January/early February cold-spell.

And who would you rather have taking late shot-clock shots for this team? It’s not like Geo’s exactly hogging the ball from more consistent, effective players

With about 3 mins (?) Left and game not out of reach yet , Young had a fast break tried to euro in lane and geo was in front of rutgers bench begging for the pass open in corner.

If it’s one possession game, give me Geo. But he needs to play the two spot and let someone else run point.

Geo actually was shooting poorly before the thumb injury. And in the last two games is a 22% three point shooter. I actually cringe every time I seem him pull up from three because he is a very poor three point shooter. But some people think that's our best option despite a season of proof the he is really bad at it. They just need that one game every once in a while when he hits his shot to say "that's GEO" and ignore the majority of games when he throws bricks. And saying stats don't tell the story is ridiculous. If he was just an OK shooter, Rutgers would be a lot better team.

Young played WAY too much yesterday and Johnson played WAY too little. Johnson affects the game in many ways. The +\- with him in the game is very good. Not sure what we were doing there..especially when Michigan went big. Carter is just too slow to react, makes bad decisions, is too small, and appears to try to catch everything with his fists.

Johnson played 21 minutes, scored zero points and looked, as he has most of the season against any of the stout B1G frontcourts, uncomfortable with the ball down low. At least Carter scored.

Johnson's a good player and is going to get better. But there's a feeling among some here that he's a top B1G player, which just isn't the case (or at least not yet).

So true. He needs to live in the weight room this off season. Aside from rebounding, he becomes almost invisible against strong bigs (Teske, Cockburn, Garza.....). I know these guys are elite and dominate most people but Johnson should be capable of more with that wing span.

I wouldn't say he was invisible last night, still had 5 reb's(one more then Teske) 2 blocks and an assist. While Teske scored all of 5 points.

Johnson does need to score, and it's frustrating because he has offensive talent, but he does do a lot of different things on the court.

I do agree putting time in the weight room will do him good this offseason. Not bulk though, stronger, but leaner, quicker, more explosive.

Edit: didn't notice your "aside from rebounding" point. Still it's a huge part of what he does.

Not selfish enough.Nobody could score. We need him to channel and be like Kobe.Go off for 30 not 16.(when others suck like they did). Not every night but last night.

Agreed, kept waiting for Geo to spark a late game run but it never happened. Crazy how the entire offense caught a cold at the same time in the 2nd half. Especially considering the first half and 5 mins into the 2nd they were shooting a good enough % to win.
