Don’t get me wrong Michigan is a very good team and I am nervous for tonight.

However looked at their hot streak and actually it is 90% explained by schedule. They won all their games as home save Ohio State. Their road wins are Northwestern and Nebraska. By far their best win in the streak is against us at a neutral site. Honestly if Putdue, Minnesota or Wisconsin came in on the same streak we wouldn’t blink. Said another way that save Norhhwestern or Nebraska the “streak” would be normal for any Big 10 team.

Don't deceive yourself. Livers is back and healthy and they are a very good team with him in the lineup.

Totally get that and agree but for the most part the streak is with him. My point is their streak resume is more or less on par with what you would expect with any good Big 10 team.

Michigan crushed Michigan State at some point during this streak. They are playing much better than they were leading up to the previous game v. Rutgers.

Rutgers is also playing much better than they were and seems to have gotten its groove back since about the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half of the NW game.

Should be interesting with both teams on the upswing. However, that being the case, I would not panic if Rutgers doesn't win. They can win any of the next four, and two more wins of those games plus the BTT and Rutgers is still a lock.

I didn’t see much of the first game but it seemed like there are some matchup problems here. They have 2 aggressive bigs and a solid PG. I think we are much deeper and more balanced. Who gets hit for us tonight? Do we even up the rebounds or better yet own the boards?
