So, we have 6 of us who share 4 tix, so I don't have tix to every game and I want to go to the Illinois game on Saturday. In most years before we upgraded our tickets, I used to have tickets to every game, but would usually sit in the student section at least once a season, just for old times sake. We rarely sold out, so it was never an issue, as nobody would even ask me for a ticket if I wanted to sit in a less than half full student section.

My question is, now that the games are sellouts, would I have to have an actual student ticket to get into the student section? Thought it would be fun to watch a game with the crazies, but wasn't sure if I had to have a student ticket. Also, if I'm scalping, any idea what the student tickets are going for these days? Thanks...

Think one has to be premium to IM. Let's ask @DJ Spanky if he can help. I think a mod can start a conversation with anyone, but not 100% sure on that.

Not true just head to the top right of the site, clock your profile picture and you’ll see a message icon.

Click that and click new message.

Don't see any message icon after clicking on my profile picture and if I select "conversations" from the dropdown menu, I'm able to read previous ones, but not start any. @DJ Spanky started a conversation with both of us, so we're good, but in the conversation he said conversations can only be started by premium subscribers (he said it was a feature aimed at getting people to join premium - to me it's a feature aimed at annoying people who might be interested in premium).

Agreed- Same issue- can see messages but can not initiate them unless premium.
