Freakin another classic B1G road game. Wtf is the problem with getting 1 of these?
Just enough bs play to dig a hole or. Not finish. So frustrating.

The 2 3’s to end the half AND The turnover in the paint, after we had cut it to 9 following a nice little run that lead to an easy bucket at the other end, both killed us.

Once again, terrible first half followed by decent half-time adjustments, just to come up short and lose anyway.

Pike needs to get this team to show up for the games at the beginning of the games, and then finish them.

Can’t start playing our brand of b-ball with 12 left

It’ll be nice to have a few more bodies next year who are capable of playing the type of S we need to play, early in games to give starters some rest, so that we can play this way for 40 minutes.

We had a chance, but no baskets at the end. Even with Baker, nobody else to knock down anything. Plus we miss badly at the wrong time.

and thats it

no moral victories

its a loss and this team seemingly isnt learning its lesson about playing a full 40
I saw no lack of effort at any point in the game. We just rarely have had our shots fall recently early and opponents 3s hurt.

Think we need to adjust and defend the three better earlier. We seem to get demoralized when our opponents make 3s like free throws.

Give the guys credit for hanging in. Let's keep the home streak going.
Coming back is cool and all but we gotta start asking ourselves how do we consistently keep digging these holes and i think the answer is simple. Were not running an offense so its easy to go into long scoring droughts and when we fall behind by a lot we start to play a little faster and get shots up quicker which surprise surprise, leads to more points

Would have been great to see that defense in the first half. Team needs to play from the opening tip.

I'm not into bilullshit comeback losses. You need to SHOW UP and win

Agreed. If they carry the late momentum over to Saturday thats great but this isn't little league. This team is trying to make the NCAA Tournament. You can't play like absolute crap for 75% of this game. Way way way past the point of being "happy with a nice comeback and no quit attitude".

Just like I said at halftime when this live thread is unreadable with over the top negativity, we always come back. Close again but need that win

And bac people keep saying it's hard for us to get blown out bc we are... Not sure why you were trying to brag about being wrong about this. You were wrong again this game too. Wrong every time so far in this one. A game where multiple players didnt play well and we still are in it at the end.... again

Agree "happy with a nice comeback and no quit attitude" is for teams that aren't going anywhere. We want to go somewhere with four letters in it.

One would think we would look to switch something up on offense. Too many slow starts. Too many long scoring droughts. Too much of us looking like its mission impossible to get a bucket

or we just play defense. We gave up 45 points in the first half. That is obviously way too many. Held them to 27 In second half. We gave it away in first half because we couldn’t stop them. Offense wasn’t horrible pretty standard for us
