I remember Fred Hill landing Corey Chandler and it set things in motion. The next year Rosario commits and then Echinque and dane miller. I think Cliff could have that same effect.

Plus engineering program
Is he pursuing engineering? Maybe we should talk, lol. All kidding aside (since I'm technically a "booster" even though I do lots of mentoring and student events as a volunteer), I do know someone in the RU Eng'g School Dean's office who is heavily involved in academic support (and has been involved in some tutoring for Myles - doing eng'g and playing hoops is a very tough row to hoe) and she's great - we were in grad school together at RU.

Arizona State........we need good weather in NJ before and after his visit.

I am not sure why any 18 year old would want to go to school anywhere but Arizona state.

Cliff I doubt would play PF. He would play center behind Myles as both would block shots, and be well rested and both at times commit fouls. Cliff's game would jump by leaps and bounds if he was coached by our staff. I think he could play power forward as he developed an outside shot or maybe a few minutes we could play twin towers together but not on a regular basis.

Totally agree. Cliff would be taking Carter's role next year.

Are we just ignoring Reiber, Palmquist, and Mag?

If Omoruyi comes, we're going to have a lot of depth next year:

1 - Mulcahy (So)
1/2 - Baker (Sr), Young (RS Sr), McConnell (Jr)
2 - Mathis (Jr)
3/4 - Harper (Jr), Palmquist (RS Fr), Mag (Fr)
4/5 - Reiber (Fr)
5 - Johnson (RS Jr), Omoruyi (Fr), Doucoure (RS Jr)

Edit: Forgot to include Mathis, and had Reiber/Palmquist reversed.

If Cliff comes here and Palmquist/Reiber aren't ready or capcble of playing the 4 I could see Cliff getting minutes WITH Myles.....talking like 5-6 minutes.

You don't think you can go to the shore and find 6 girls to match them or 6 cheerleaders at RU that are better than these. Plus, he from NJ and knows what the weather is. But, at Rutgers he will be in the media center of the world, while at ASU he will be in what paper?

Which is the great thing about Palmquist enrolling early - he'll hopefully be more up to speed when we hit the floor next season. He'd technically be a RS Fr at that point, I think.

And you forgot Mathis. Also Palmquist is not a 4/5. More a 3. Reiber is more a 4/5.

Based on reports (grain of salt).....I have the highest probabilities of Mag making the rotation over the other 2 just based on him playing D.

Now I don't know how that fits with Young and Mathis and what they can and can not bring to the table.

Hot girls are great. But the idea of living in Arizona gives me hives. Kids aren't as one dimensional as people think. At least not all of them. NYC is still the capital of the world for a reason. And for every kid that wants something like ASU, there is another that dreams of living in Greenwich Village and going to NYU. And another that wants the shore. And on and on etc. RU has a great slate of offerings.

I was sort of joking. The beautiful weather in this case may actually benefit us. If Cliff is choosing a school partially or completely based on academics I'd think he'd realize that the nice weather could potentially distract him from what he is really going to school for.

I am probably being naive here.
