Michigan guard Zavier Simpson is reported to be suspended.

With Michigan's offensive problems and now the loss of a key player, RU should really like its chances on Saturday.

Update: looks like it is only for their next game, which is against Nebraska

Really?? Is it multiple games aka include the game vs RU this Sat? This would be huge as he's their key offensive piece + the big guy

Wolverine Country twitter account (@umichcountry) just tweeted about it. Suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.

Now the official Michigan twitter account announced it but it says for Nebraska game. Not sure if it will also be against us.

The way it's worded we should assume he will be back for MSG. Especially if they fall to Nebraska and are in total desperation mode.

Michigan Website said Simpson is suspended for their game with Nebraska. He will be at the Garden

teams sometimes respond when they have a player missing...at least in their first game, its further down the road where there is an issue but it looks like he will be back for our gae

What did he do to warrant being kicked off the team even if in Piscataway. I've seen nothing about the details of the infraction.

Going to be a hard road for them, since they already have a shortened rotation and not a lot of guard depth

Even if Dejulius takes on Simpson's minutes, that's still 20 guard minutes that need to be picked up.... by Nunez, I guess?

It's AT LEAST one game, unclear how long. There are twitter rumors that it's a "domestic" incident. Obviously I have no clue if that's true but if it is, it will likely be more than one game. It's unlikely they'd mention it if it was, frankly. Makes more sense to drop that information right before the game like we did with Geo's thumb.

Xavier Simpson is awesome. Steve Pikiell called him the best all around PG in the B1G at the last Court Club. This is a huge loss for a team that is already unraveling and without Livers.

Looks like Simpson will be out for the Nebraska game.. maybe more?
I saw Livers injure himself the other day. He was just coming back from a groin.
Any reports on him?
