His ability to get close-in shots at the basket is amazing. And his ability to get the ball to others around the hoop is ridiculous. Once he begins to really look for his shot, he will be a nightmare.

He can’t shoot enough. And be should be posting up smaller guards and either taking shots or passing out of the post.
Paul is a playmaker, first and foremost. I believe he thinks of himself as the 5th shooting option when he’s on the floor.
His attitude is, you have to cover me because I have the ball, but if you ever slack off one of my teammates I’ll make you pay. He makes every team member a threat at all times.
Yes, he needs to take and make open looks more frequently, and that will come. In the meantime if he ever becomes selfish then we’ll be an easier team to defend, which we don’t want.
I look at it this way, he’s contributing, and we’re winning. Same with every other player. They all have facets of their game that need improvement, but as a team right now we have something good going, and Paul is playing his part to make us better.

No concerns about the EVOLUTION of this kid. Wenzel nailed it during the Penn St. game - he is a superior passer already and will become one of the best. If his own offense takes a bit, so be it. We already seem to have 6 other scorers as it is. Let him dish for the rest of this season.
When Paul or Caleb have the size advantage I would like to see both get some post touches. If Myles man doubles off to help its a lob from Mulcahy all day. Both have shown the ability to score down there and both can pass out of the post
he is doing a yeomens job right now, he is not going to be a complete player as a frosh in the best conference in the land but his vision and court awareness no doubt is already big 10 level

He’s gonna be scary important by year 3. One of our best recruits ever.
Mulcahy and Myles work beautiful together. Many of Paul’s great passes are to Myles. His defense and rebounding are getting much better.
Pertaining to his shooting, he’s doing the typical underclassmen respect by deferring to his teammates with more seniority. That’s how you win respect on and off the court with your teammates

True, and Myles is able to handle the passes, which is not always the case with a big man.
The little dish inside fooled me a bit as a expected Mulcahy to shoot there, but Myles was ready.
Both guys have some throwback in there games. Don't see too many PG big man duo's these days.
I love remembering how a few SHU posters said it was no big deal that he was going to RU. They went on and asked how long will it take before he transfers. They are upset I believe because we got two first team ALL State guys from New Jersey in Harper one year and Mulcahy the next. Imagine if Cliff made it three consecutive years. They might be ready to flip out.
