To each his (or her) own.

Can’t have one because of work and doubt I would if I could.

Shaved mine about six months ago and have had a handlebar mustache since.

Are they in ? Not in ?
Hipsters ? Losers ?
this is pretty tame.. kind of groomed... no creatures living in it or popcorn getting stuck..
and then there is this.. which near me every dude seems to have. Obviously, depending on your career it's not a look for everyone..

"In" is relative to length. Women like a short George Michael beard but not ZZ Top beards. I was reading an article this week that said men feel more confident with beards. That meshed with a lot of other things I read about guys using beards to hide flaws and/or to feel "masked." I see guys eating and sneezing with fuller beards and it seems kinda icky (like nose rings). I would probably let beard grow if shaving was a problem, but I am lucky in that an electric cleans things up nice and quick.

I had a Van Dyke for a few months in my early 30s. My wife said I looked like a mean pirate. So I threw her overboard.

Not a facial hair guy, really. But in late Feb I am starting a thru-hike of the AT. Seems like growing a beard is pretty much mandatory. So... I'll be sporting one, at least until the weather warms.

I have one now. Shaving next week. I hate shaving but I hate having an itchy beard more.

Next summer when I come back to Jersey, I am going to grow a long nasty beard and dye it black and go out to shore bars. Just to see the reaction from people. I may wear an eye patch too.

ya'lls problem is that you don't use this to keep it neat and trimmed.... give it a try.... i have one and i LOVE it over regular blades... gives a closer shave than ANY regular blade you can buy

I grow a beard when I start feeling lazy. But I keep it short and groomed. And to be honest, only time I do it is when I get tired of shaving every day. But still have to shave and groom a couple of times a week anyway...

ive had a stache and beard around my chin for twenty five years cause i hate cutting myself shaving
How often does one cut themselves shaving. I think it may be once or twice a year.
And if in fear of cutting- it is safe to assume, you don’t manscape anywhere else.......

Had a goatee since the mid 90s but keep it really close shaved.

Think those extra long grown beards look awful..why???????

I used to do the goatee for years...I think I only shaved it off back around 2010. Now, either clean shaven or closely trimmed and shaped beard.

Shaving my face I rarely do it but when I shave my head I do it every now and then

16 years ago before wax and laser
I would use my daughter's dads razor on my legs. He would scream at me. Anyway, afterwards my legs were really smooth, but looked like a junior high school boys face. Bloody pieces of toilet paper everywhere! Haha
