Honestly, we have a chance but after MSU, this will likely be our toughest road game. IL is legit, and they have a few guys that will be difficult to contain. I’m guessing we can hold a couple of them down, but a guy like Griffin, for example, could bury us.

Agree, this would be a great win, but not a bad loss if that makes sense.

Every remaining road game will be tough because Rutgers probably will be the underdog.just like they probably will be the favorite at the RAC.

dont know if you can say that....we have to go to Iowa and Maryland and Ohio State and Wisconsin and Purdue. I actually would say that all 5 of those schools have a better atmosphere than Illinois does. Don't sleep on these programs because they have lost a few games. Ohio State beat Penn State by 30

good start overall. Active on the glass. Game will come down to rebounding and protecting the ball

Good start, love the quick weak side help. I told you guys one of the reasons eugene transferred was ron was rag dolling him in the post in spring runs and letting him know it. Youre seeing it now. Ron is a bull on O and D can guard the 1-4

That lob to Cockburn isn’t going to happen per Pike’s gameplan. Making them earn it, like what I see!

First thing I notice about Cockburn is that he doesn't have great hands. He's already fumbled the ball at least twice.

Nice start despite 3 turnovers. Chalk it up to jitters but we lead 7-4, with the ball, first timeout on the floor. So far so good.
