McConnell has more than a few rebounds and assists. He was 8-8, 2-2 for 20 points and 5 assists and 5 rebounds. In my opinion, despite huge games by Jacob and Myles, McConnell was the player of the game for us as he not only produced at a high level, but he led the offense in Geo’s absence.
He also looks like he’s not breaking a sweat while doing it. Very smooth player.

He finally got the message to SLOW down and play under control and pick your spots. He was nothing short of phenomenal tonight all around. The game changing play was his interception of an outlet pass late in the 2nd half. Incredible game and if he can keep playing like this then look out big ten

What a performance. Knew exactly what was needed in the 2nd half. With all due respect to Ron, Jacob Young was the player of the game.

Jacob is making me eat my words again. I really didn’t see it, but he’s done it 2 straight games. Hope I keep eating crow!

Any mention of his limping around a little near the end of the game (at the 0:57 mark)? Hope it was nothing, but thought I'd ask.

I noticed that too. When was walking to the bench there was a noticeable limp

Scheduling Caldwell before the Big ten games has worked out like a stroke of genius. It seems to have really benefited Young and Mulcahy and built their confidence.

The steal in the second half was amazing and just shut PSU right down. Crowd went wild

So glad to see Young blossom as we reach mid-season. He offers offensive answers right now no one else on the team can, and he's another weapon in the kit for Pike to employ as the season progresses. Very happy to see his offense finally catching up to his defense and watching him answer the bell when Baker went down with injury.
