Something beautiful seeing a Rutgers player end the season for Brady after all Brady's success surrounded by Rutgers players.

sure... but, now it's a trivia answer............... TBs last pass at NE was............................ a pick 6
Brady will likely re-sign for two more seasons and the Pats probably go balls out in the offseason. Watch them trade for Odell Beckham and Trent Williams, Gronk comes back, etc. then after his contract expires, he retires, Bill retires from coaching but stays GM, Steve takes over, and they blow it up for a rebuild.

I’m thinking Brady to Chargers in a deal in which he will have an opportunity to get a stake in the team and a long-term role in management.

I doubt he's going to go somewhere where there's basically no shot at winning anything, not to mention I doubt he'll want to move across the country when his wife works in NYC and kids go to school over in this region. He'd probably retire before taking that type of option.

Who in the world would want to play for the chargers and have 16 road games

I'm pretty sure talking with active players about things like "an opportunity to get a stake in the team and a long-term role in management" is against league rules because it circumvents the salary cap.

I understand what you're saying this season, but I wonder how that new beautiful stadium will affect attendance next season.
Also, I wouldn't mind spending a couple years in San Diego. Beats Massachusetts any day of the week.

This is all very possible.

Would have been smarter to drop down and ice the game.

NE had no time-outs.

He iced the game

Brady will be back with a retooled NE. He’s not going to another team. They did not have the players this year and still made the playoffs. He looked good last night and it wasn’t his fault they couldn’t punch it in from the 1 or Edelman dropping a key pass

Brady is still good but teams are catching on to Big Bills style and yesterday the Titans did to NE what NE did to many teams I. The past. Great defense and time of possession.

What a great way to start the New Year! I got my Christmas wishes, no Dallas in the playoffs and no New England in the Super Bowl.
The tv audience for the Super Bowl will drop because sports fans want to see the perceived elite teams win/lose.

The announcer mentioned it on the broadcast.

Once the TD was scored, they would be given a kickoff opportunity.

Given the time left, it was probably easier to return a fluke kick-off than to drive down 99 yards in less than 30 seconds with no time outs.

It wont. They don't have any fans. San diegans have turned their backs on them in kind, and nobody here in LA or OC gives a **** about the Chargers.

I was at the Chargers - Raiders game 2 weeks ago....... I swear that it was 20 to 1 raiders fans for a chargers home game. Thats not an exaggeration

What a horrible decision that was to leave San Diego.

Seriously, they were beloved in SD historically. And LA sucks as a sports fanbase. They are super-flaky fairweather fans in general, so giving them a second football team is just silly just like it was during the 80s. Not to mention after the Rams and Raiders left, many of them became 49ers fans.

If anything, move to St. Louis or to Texas since that state is crazy about football - Austin/San Antonio area

I wonder how Raiders fans are going to deal with them going to Las Vegas.

What makes you think he wants to be in management after playing?
He should spend more time at home "managing" his wife.

The Chargers belong in San Diego...or Anaheim (the Big A ...or whatever they're calling it these days).

MO
PS And if the Clippers were smart they would have moved to Anaheim years ago. After this current crop is gone...and the Clips inevitably drop back into oblivion they will need a fan base that will stick with them: LA is not that place.
